Holy Squid!

I apologize if the title of this post offends anyone.
It's just the first thing that popped into my head.
Jaden has settled into his new area, and I think he's growing accustomed to the food!
At least, he's willing to try things that don't sound too appetizing to me.
He knew going in that he would be trying rotten cabbage and dog,
but I'm not sure he thought that squid would be on the menu!

I'm sure he preferred the Barbeque Chicken that a member made for him
and the Elders he lives with.  He of course took pictures of that, too!

Yes, that does look a little more appetizing!
But, I'm sure he would have loved to get a box of Valentine's Candy from me!
I actually went to mail him one, but it was going to cost me $46.00.
I came home and ate the chocolate myself, but then felt really guilty
when he sent this picture of his companion getting Valentine's glasses
(and I'm sure candy) from his family!
I made sure I sent him one for Easter!

As far as the work, it's going a little slow.  Jaden and his companion
are working with a couple of investigators, but they usually end up cancelling their appointments.
He and his companion have been tracting a little, but most people don't answer their doors.
He decided to get a picture of that, too!
We continue to pray that doors will be open, and that Jaden will have more
opportunities to teach the gospel.

Thanks for your continued support!
