Father's Day? What's That?

Yep, Jaden forgot it was Father's Day!
I reminded him in my e-mail to him,
and told him to write a nice note back to his dad.
Instead, he told Chris that he had indeed forgotten and
that I had reminded him!
(At least he's honest!)
He did send a link to a video that I'm sure many of you have seen,
but in case you haven't, here it is:
(You'll have to highlight the link, right click, and then open the link.)

How grateful I am for father's and the divine role they play in
our Heavenly Father's Plan!
I am especially thankful for my own husband and father,
and for a loving Heavenly Father who has given me everything!

Now, back to the mission....
Things are going well in Won Ju.  Jaden has an investigator they've
been working with since March who has been
asking some very specific questions about the Priesthood.
Jaden seems to think his questions are being answered, and is very hopeful
this man will accept the invitation to be baptized.
He also has another gentleman that the elders have been reading
the Book of Mormon with.  He loves to read,
so Jaden is hopeful that he'll read and study the Book of Mormon
and gain a testimony of it.
He also has a young man he's been teaching for the past month who
has accepted the invitation for baptism, and a date is set for the end of June.
However, he is not quite 18 and needs parental permission.
We are praying that they will give it.
Otherwise, he will be baptized in August when he turns 18.  So exciting!
So, things are going well with investigators right now.

Here are some random pictures he e-mailed last night:

Above are the elders in Jaden's apartment.
Looks about what I expected an elder's apartment to look like!
Below, Jaden's standing in front of planes at an air force (just like home),
and his zone in Won Ju.
He has a new hair style.  I hardly recognize him!

It's hard to believe Jaden's almost been out a year!
I know for some, time moves very slowly with a missionary out,
but I have not felt that at all!
I think being able to e-mail Jaden weekly has helped,
and knowing he's in the right place doing what he should be doing helps a lot!
So grateful he chose to serve!
